Integrated Program in Endocrinology T32 grant renewed

The Integrated Program in Endocrinology (iPEnd) Translational Postdoctoral Training Program has successfully been renewed! Led by Ian Bird, professor in the Division of Reproductive Sciences, and Jon Levine (Wisconsin National Primate Research Center), the training program is set to receive $1.8 million over the next five years from the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (T32HD101384).  

iPEnd provides professional and scientific training to PhD postdoctoral and clinical fellows so they can develop cutting-edge research programs in the field of reproduction. The program is based on collaborations with the UW Department of Ob-Gyn's Division of Reproductive Sciences, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, as well as burgeoning partnerships with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health Department of Pediatrics.  

Many former iPEnd trainees have also obtained independent research and career development grant funding as they transition to independent scientist and faculty positions. We congratulate them on their strong outcomes and look forward to another round of fantastic training and achievement.
