Jacques receives APGO Humanism in Teaching Award

Congratulations to Laura Jacques, MD, associate professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Ob-Gyn! Jacques was selected as a 2025 recipient of the Humanism in Teaching Award from the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics.  

The APGO Humanism in Teaching Award honors ob-gyn educators from APGO member departments who are outstanding role models in the teaching of ob-gyn. Awardees are recognized as not only skilled clinicians but also as outstanding educators who intentionally foster compassionate, respectful, and collaborative relationships with learners, healthcare teams, patients, and their families with the ultimate goal of engendering shared and preference-based medical decisions, greater patient satisfaction with care, and improved outcomes.
