Kaljo, Cox, and Dorian bring poster to AMA Coaching Summit
The American Medical Association hosted the inaugural AMA Coaching Summit: Empowering Learners and Educators Through Coaching in Chicago August 13-14, 2026. A faculty and resident team from the UW Department of Ob-Gyn brought their research to the event!
Kristina Kaljo, PhD, associate professor in Education, Caroline Cox, MD, associate professor and director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, and ob-gyn resident Emily Dorian, MD, MPH, PGY-3, presented the poster “From Criticism to Coaching: Teaching the Art of Feedback through the R2C2 Coaching for Change Model.”
The national summit brought together physicians, educators, learners, and academic leaders to explore how coaching can transform medical education. Congratulations to Drs. Kaljo, Cox, and Dorian on sharing their work at the inaugural AMA Coaching Summit!
