Knutson-Sinaise, Hoppe bring poster to AHA Hypertension annual meeting

Megan Knutson Sinaise, MS, research program coordinator, and Kara Hoppe, DO, PhD, brought a poster to the American Heart Association’s Annual Hypertension Meeting in Baltimore in early September.  

They presented the poster “STAC-MyHEARTp: A randomized controlled trial of health coaching and self-measured blood pressure to increase healthcare engagement and blood pressure control in the first year postpartum” during the Pregnancy, Preeclampsia and Developmental Programming poster session. Knutson-Sinaise, who was the health coach for all participants in the trial, led the poster presentation and answered questions from the engaged crowd. The research team also reconnected with Heather Johnson, MD, former PI on the MyHEART project.
