Senderowicz quoted in the New Yorker

Leigh Senderowicz, ScD, MPH, assistant professor in the Division of Reproductive and Population Health, was quoted in a recent story published in the New Yorker.
In “The End of Children,” Gideon Lewis-Kraus evaluated the decline in global birth rates and the implications this has on the stability of society. Senderowicz was featured in a section discussing reproductive autonomy and its intersection with pro-natalist mindsets.
“There is fundamentally no way to do this that doesn’t end up treating women’s bodies as a tool,” Senderowicz said in reference to how such ideas tend to be seen as less democratic internationally.
