Sergeant to present at UW Health APP Grand Rounds on July 21

Angie Sergeant, NP, of the UW Ob-Gyn Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, will present at the UW Health APP Grand Rounds on July 21, 2022!

In the lecture “Let’s talk about incontinence! Providing care for females with urinary incontinence in any setting”, Sergeant will:

1. Describe prevalence and risk factors for female urinary incontinence
2. Explain the major categories of urinary incontinence, their causes, and first line treatment strategies
3. Discuss both first and second line therapies for urinary incontinence
4. Identify advanced therapies and provider types who can support patients whose symptoms don't respond to initial treatment
