Sorensen and Ufot discuss CORE research with WORT
Zakiyyah Sorensen, RN, BSN, outreach manager for the UW Collaborative for Reproductive Equity (CORE) and Mfonobong Ufot, BS, research program coordinator at CORE, joined WORT Madison Community Radio for a recent story about conducting reproductive health research in the current political climate on April 9.
As part of WORT’s A Public Affair programming, Sorensen and Ufot talked with Ali Muldrow about the political climate surrounding abortion and reproductive health care in Wisconsin and the impacts it has on disseminating information and resources. Much of their conversation focussed on barriers to care after the Dobbs decision and the role people and organizations outside of the medical community play in providing up-to-date information and resources when it comes to reproductive care.
