Spencer presents at AAMC Group on Resident Affairs conference

Ryan Spencer, MD, MS, associate professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, presented at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Resident Affairs Professional Development Conference in Arlington, VA in early April 2024.
Spencer presented a project that analyzed resident and fellow evaluation systems across all UW Health GME programs; the project resulted in streamlined evaluation policies and created standardized processes and best practices for the institution.
In addition to presenting at the conference, Spencer was invited to become a member of the AAMC Group on Resident Affairs (GRA). The GRA has 2-3 representatives from each of its member institutions and is responsible for creating and disseminating best practices and principles for GME across medical specialties. Spencer recently completed the AAMC GME Leadership Program.
