Spencer to present on rural ob-gyn training at University Roundtable on February 26

Ryan Spencer, MD, MS, associate professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, is the featured speaker for an upcoming University Roundtable event! Spencer will present Investing in the Future: the Potential of Rural Training for OB-GYNs on February 26, 2025 at Varsity Hall in Union South.
University Roundtable events share interesting programs and scholarship with members of the university community and their guests. At the February event, Spencer will discuss the current state of training ob-gyns in the United States and how patients in rural areas are not being served by this model. Dr. Spencer will explore opportunities and programs to increase the flow of ob-gyn physicians into rural America, highlighting the UW Department of Ob-Gyn Rural Residency Track at the University of Wisconsin.
The University Roundtable will be held from 11:30am-1:00pm in Varsity Hall at Union South. Registration is $15 and includes lunch. Learn more and register here by February 11, 2025.
