Warner shares what's next after FPMRS fellowship

Kristina Warner, MD, was the first person recruited to the UW Department of Ob-Gyn Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship. After three years of training, Warner is preparing to graduate. Warner shares what’s next after fellowship and how this program prepared her for success in the future.

Where will you be going and what will you be doing after UW Ob-Gyn?

Urogynecology practice at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL.

How do you feel UW Ob-Gyn prepared you for success after fellowship?

I have been afforded so many opportunities here and I feel like I've been exposed to the breadth of urogynecologic practice. I know that I will be able to medically and surgically manage all of the conditions that are well within my purview, so I feel very confident in my future career.

Any special shout-outs or thanks to faculty, staff, other trainees who really shaped your time here?

It's been wonderful to work so closely with my division and my attendings. It's nice to be able to have those relationships over the last three years and feel very supported both professionally and personally by them.
