Department hosts successful 25th Annual Clinical Embryologists Summit Conference

More than 100 professionals from reproductive endocrinology and infertility organizations around the world visited Madison for the 25th Annual Clinical Embryologists Summit (CES) Conference May 3-4, 2024.

The CES Conference is an annual event designed to give participants an informal setting to share ideas and to interact with invited speakers and other clinical embryologists. The conference brought attendees from 19 states, Canada, and India together for lively interaction around assisted reproductive technology topics.

During the conference, attendees enjoyed a keynote by Dr. Jason Swain, Chief Laboratory Officer and President of Lab Operations at CCRM IVF Laboratory Network as well as presentations focused on quality practices in manufacturing, application of AI in assisted reproduction, laboratory organization, and more. For the first time this year, the conference included a panel discussion on best practices for organizing an embryology lab. Lori Norkosky, embryologist at Generations Fertility Care, participated in the panel!

This year’s conference sold out, with the largest number of attendees to date. Huge congratulations to Generations Fertility Care Laboratory Director Zeki Beyhan, PhD, UW Ob-Gyn Event Coordinator Autumn Hayes, and the entire CES Conference planning committee for planning and executing an incredible event!
