Presentations from Gloria Sarto Reproductive Health Equity Symposium

On October 10, 2024, faculty, staff, and trainees from the UW Department of Ob-Gyn and beyond presented at the Gloria Sarto Reproductive Equity Symposium. The event, formerly the Women’s Health and Health Equity Research Lecture and Symposium, was renamed this year after Dr. Gloria Sarto passed away on June 8, 2024, and celebrates her impact on health equity research.
Charlotte Gamble, MD, MPH, an attending Surgeon in Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Ob-Gyn at Georgetown University School of Medicine was the keynote speaker, presenting, “Endometrial Cancer: Interventions to Address a Growing Public Health Crisis.”

Jeanne Erickson, director of Health Ed Express, planned to present "Place Matters: The Foundation for Neighborhood Health Education" and share information about the nonprofit founded by Dr. Gloria Sarto in recent years.
