Sergeant nominated for UW Health APP Excellence Award

UW Health celebrated advanced practice providers during APP Week in September, culminating in the UW Health UW Health Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Awards celebration. Angela Sergeant, NP, of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, was nominated for a 2024 Excellence in Clinical Practice Award.

In nomination materials, her colleagues said:

“Angie is an incredible patient advocate. She partners with her patients to ensure that they receive the best, evidence-based care. She consistently considers the social determinants of health and addresses the care of the patient holistically.

Angie is a phenomenal practitioner, and patients adore her. I know this because I hear it all the time. She is the type of practitioner who knows about the birth of a patient’s grandchild or a patient’s hobbies. She remembers that the care of the patient is in caring for the patient.”

She was described as a mentor, role model, and exceptional provider who sets patients at ease.

Congratulations, Angie!
