The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health’s tradition is rich in research, advancement and innovation and fellows will have access to a wealth of resources on campus to support their research. Upon arrival, each fellow will identify a research topic of their own or choose to collaborate on current research being done in the department. A mentor who has expertise or knowledge of the particular area of female pelvic floor treatment or prevention will be assigned or selected. To support the research effort, the fellow, mentor and program director will meet to establish a timeline and continue to meet on a regular basis throughout training to monitor progress. This project will result in their final thesis and is expected to produce a manuscript for publication.
